Feb. 2011 We are very excited to announce that 'Cora' had her puppies sired by Am Ch Whitewing American Epic! Welcome 7 new crewmembers! March 2011 Our puppies from 'Cora' are going great guns! All very outgoing, pretty and pick up EVERYTHING! Looks like we'll have a new Apprentice soon! April 2011 Our puppies from 'Cora' have all gone to their new homes. We have kept 'Pippa' so please check her out on our Apprentice page. We had to say goodbye to our boy 'Buzz' at the end of the month. He leaves a big hole here in our hearts and maybe someday I'll find another male Labrador who can fill his paws. May 2011 No news for May. It was too rainy and we were busy building an ark(or a ship?! LOL)! June 2011 LOC Specialty Show in early June had some ribbons come our way. 'Teena', managed to go Best Opposite in Veterans Sweeps under breeder/judge Roger Bannister, Greenhill Labradors. She also placed 2nd Veterans Bitch under Maryann Czerwinski, Broadway and the following day 1st Veterans Bitch under Pauline Mortier, Lubberline and went on to make first cut Specials for Breed under Maryann Czerwinski. 'Mabel' placed 2nd in Open Yellow Bitch under Maryann Czerwinski, Broadway. CLQ Specialty in Trois-Rivieres Quebec end of the month saw 'Mabel' win the Bred By Bitch class under Sharon Celentano, Shar-Jam Labradors July 2011 •LRCC National and regional Specialty LRCO saw us in attendance Pirate Hoist The Colours, aka 'Mabel' goes 4th in Bred By under Val Walters, Ranbourne at the National • Can Ch Pirate's Small Change, aka 'Teena' also attended the LRCC National in Winnipeg. 'Teena' did very well. 1st in Veterans Sweeps Bitch 10 plus years under Roger Bannister, Greenhill and won the Veterans Bitch class under Val Walters, Ranbourne She repeated her wins the next day under Julie Quigley Smith, Hollyridge for Sweeps and Lisa Weiss, Lobuff for regular classes August 2011 Pirate's Voodoo, 'Pippa' makes her offical CKC debut by going Reserve Winners Bitch under breeder/judge Joanne Fernall, Devonsleigh Labradors at the Markham K.C Aug 27th September 2011 The gang had the month off! However I judged for the Jersey Skylands Labrador Retriever Club, doing Sweeps classes October 2011 Pirate Hoist The Colours, 'Mabel' goes Reserve Winners Bitch at Pine Ridge KC on Oct 1st under John Reeve Newson Pirate's Voodoo, 'Pippa' goes thorough to Best of Breed from the Junior Puppy Bitch class to win 5pts under noted US judge Dana Cline at the Trillium Dog Fanciers Oct. 29th in Lindsay ON. The next day, she repeats the win under noted US judge Frank Sabella for a 4pt win on Oct 30! Wow Pippa!!! November 2011 'Pippa' finishes her champtionship from the Junior Puppy Bitch class under noted judge Jim Reynolds at the Georgina Kennel Club show in Lindsay ON on November 11th. Wow Pippa!!!
