June '09 We welcome 6 new crew members courtesy of Frankie and Cora here and found time to attend the LOC Specialty with Mabel(who had a great time but no ribbons this outting). July '09 •Pirate Hoist The Colours, aka 'Mabel' wins the 12-18 class at the EOLBA Booster at teh Bobcaygeon show July 1 under Bob Rowbotham. •Pirate Hoist The Colours, aka 'Mabel' and Can Ch Pirate's Small Change, aka 'Teena' attend the EOLBA Specialty. 'Teena' won 4th in Veterans Sweeps Bitch 7-9 years under breeder/judge Jane Wewer August '09 •Pirate Hoist The Colours, aka 'Mabel' wins the 12-18 class at the LRCC National in Winnpeg under Jean-Louis Blais, Chablais and places 2nd her Sweeps class under Jill Ickowski, Wiscoy At the Labrador Club of Manitoba Specialty, she places 3rd in her 12-18 Class under Mr. Brown, Ramsayville UK and 4th in her Sweeps class under Madeleine Charest, Chablais • Can Ch Pirate's Small Change, aka 'Teena' also attended the LRCC National in Winnipeg. 'Teena' won 1st in Veterans Sweeps Bitch 7-9 years under Jill Ickowski, Wiscoy and at the Labrador Club Of Manitoba Specialty, she won a tough Veterans Bitch class under Mr. Brown, Ramsayville, UK and 1st 7-9 Veteran Bitch under Madeleine Charest, Chablais September '09 •Pirate Hoist The Colours, aka 'Mabel' made the cut in her Sweeps class under Carol Heidl, Tabatha at Pawcatuck LRC, North Stonington, CT and also a cut in a very larger 12-18 class under Marion Hopkinson, Rocheby • Can Ch Pirate's Small Change, aka 'Teena' went 2nd in her Veteran Sweeps class under Deb Lewis, Shalane at ILRC in Romulus, NY and the following day went 3rd in Bred By under Pat Lanctot, Ebonylane at the Supported entry the day following IRLC Specialty. WOW not bad for a girl almost 8 1/2, two times as old as some of the younger bitches in that class! Oct '09 •Pirate Hoist The Colours, aka 'Mabel' attended the one day of the London KC weekend and did nothing but get re-acquainted with indoor matting and being staked to show • Can Ch Pirate's Small Change, aka 'Teena' and 'Mabel' both attended the Central Ohio LRC in Delaware OH, no pulls or placements Nov '09 •Pirate Hoist The Colours, aka 'Mabel' attended the one day of the Trillium KC weekend and finishes her 09 show year with a Reserve Winners Bitch • Pirate's The Caribbean, aka 'Cora' heads out to the local GKOC show to finish off her Canadian Championship on the first day! |
